if you are running RHEL >= 4, you can use the packages available from Fedora EPEL http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL it pretty much should work with the default configurations if it is only 1 cluster you are interested in monitoring, so all you need is just to install the packages and start the applications. the README file that comes with the package is a good guide into configuring your setup to go from there.
