Trying to build ganglia 3.0.7 on Solaris 10 / AMD 64 Sunfire 2100
machine.

Anyone have any luck? What gcc/make etc should be used? Ive tried and
so far and no luck as per below:

 OS=SunOS 5.10 Generic_127112-11 i86pc i386 i86pc

*  cpu's are 2 AMD Opteron 64

*

*  gcc version 4.0.2

*  Reading specs from
/opt/csw/gcc4/lib/gcc/i386-pc-solaris2.8/4.0.2/specs

*  Target: i386-pc-solaris2.8

*  Configured with: ../sources/gcc-4.0.2/configure
--prefix=/opt/csw/gcc4 --with-local-prefix=/opt/csw --with-gnu-as
--with-as=/opt/csw/bin/gas --without-gnu-ld --with-ld=/usr/ccs/bin/ld
--enable-threads=posix --enable-shared --enable-multilib --enable-nls
--with-included-gettext --with-libiconv-prefix=/opt/csw --with-x
--enable-java-awt=xlib --with-system-zlib
--enable-languages=c,c++,f95,java,objc,ada

*  Thread model: posix

*

* ran config without any CFLAGS

*

*  configure completed

*

*  on make this error:

* ld: fatal: file .libs/debug_msg.o: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64

* ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written to
.libs/libganglia-3.0.7.so.0.0.0

I'm not that familiar with GCC, it may be a simple as the existing GCC
binary doesn't support 64??

I tried running gcc with -m64 and got an error that 64 bit mode is not
compiled in, but again, I don't know enough to determine if I should go
ahead and try to build a new gcc binary or what the best alternative is.
