or if it is not too big, post it in the ganglia-developers(*) list (you'll need to subscribe first) either inlined or attached (better if MIME formatted and not encoded) so that we can discuss it over. a good thing to have for sure, as it will also allow for better scalability at least until a multithreaded gmetad processor or partial/compressed gmetad updates are developed.
