Are you running gmetad on at least one server?  Have you configured
/etc/ganglia/gmetad.conf on that server to check at least one data
source from each cluster?  If so, what's the rrd_rootdir defined in
your gmetad.conf on the host where gmetad is running?  And what do you
see in that directory?

Also, is gmetad logging any messages to your syslog?
