Thanks for the tips. I made a few changes at once, so I'm not 100% sure which one fixed it, but time was fast by about 8 minutes on one of the nodes running the gmetad for that cluster, and I think fixing that fixed my problem. If it wasn't that it was changing the central machine (with the web frontend) which had one of it's gmetad sources as localhost.
