Hello,

I'm currently building an experimental cluster with a head node and two worker
nodes based on Ubuntu 9.04 server, and I'm using ganglia 3.1.2 to monitor it. I
created an image of the worker node on one computer and cloned it to the other.

If I boot up one worker node, gmond starts just fine. But if I boot up the
other, gmond fails to start and I find the following in /var/log/user.log:

/usr/sbin/gmond[2243]: g_mcast_socket_join_group() error: No such device
g_mcast_in() failed: No such device

However, I can still successfully start ganglia-monitor manually by running
"/etc/init.d/ganglia-monitor start".

I have tried adding $network to the Required-Start section of the init script's
INIT INFO, but that did not help. I'm a bit lost here...any ideas? Why would
this be happening?

Thanks,
Ben
