I don't believe there were any later "releases" of ganglia for MS Windows.
Those packages were built on top of cygwin and I think the intent was
that someday someone would assist in developing a native gmond for
MS Windows. However so far that has not happened. There was quite
a bit of discussion about it at various times on the dev mailing list and
someone even went so far as to put together a sort of requirements
page in the ganglia wiki on sourceforge here:

http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/ganglia/wiki/ganglia_gmond_native_windows

however since the page was created I am not sure if any more progress
was ever made towards the goal of developing a native gmond binary for
MS Windows. The last thread on the dev mailing list that was discussing
this MS Windows port of gmond was in the fall of 2008.

I think being able to add MS Windows systems to a ganglia monitor
system would be a cool feature to have for Ganglia but it takes a mix
of MS Windows and FOSS coding skills as well as the time & desire
to dig into such a project.

Subject: [Ganglia-general] Windows install files

Morning,

I’m trying to find install files for the latest ganglia version to run on windows servers (2000, 2003, 2008) all flavors.  Presently I don’t have the skill set to compile these but I’m not opposed to learning that either.  If someone could point me to the install files or instructions for the utilities needed to compile this in a windows environment I’d love to learn.  Either way.

Currently we are using 3.0.7 and we are having problems with the server stopping and causing errors.  I figured the best thing was to get to the current version before I start asking about errors.

Thanks guys,

Stel
