Hello, Could somebody give me some hint on this? I am trying to add a new metric into gmond through gmetric. It seems to work fine as the newly added metric (with name, value, etc) shows up in ganglia web page. However, when I query the node directly using telnet 8649, it is not there even when I do this through localhost:
>telnet localhost 8649 Need I make some changes in gmond.conf file in order to get the value through port 8649? Thanks in advance for any help you give.
