The actual XML line or a dump of the parse buffer would be very nice indeed. I 
still have the problem, also after upgrading to 3.1.5. stracing gmetad would be 
very messy and intrusive since sometimes there are days between the errors. I 
am not sure about the mod_php issue, I have done nothing to Apache since I ran 
3.0.7, which never triggered this problem. I am starting to wonder if this is a 
x86_64 problem since I have not heard of anybody running 32bit Ganglia having 
this kind of problem. This is however, a gut feeling and not based on any real 
evidence.
