Is there a way to get gmond and gmetad to write to a seperate log file
and not /var/log/messages? I couldn't find a setting in the example
conf files and neither on the wiki.

While playing with Ganglia initially I managed to get hundreds of
messages in /var/log/messages and I wanted to avoid this later:

Feb 16 20:57:39 uranus /usr/sbin/gmetad[26818]: RRD_update
(/var/lib/ganglia/rrds/uranus/__SummaryInfo__/proc_total.rrd): illegal
attempt to update using time 1266375459 when last update time is
1266375459 (minimum one second step)

The messages have stopped for now but I am just being proactive for the future.
