I suspect that you'll have to change libmetrics/linux/metrics.c as well
at least for linux since if my reading is correct it will use
/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq if available (does
the "overclocking" in nehalem go above that speed btw?).
