Hi all, I am a new bie trying to install ganglia in a standalone machine. I followed step by step procedure for setting up ganglia.
In the instruction set,I was asked to create a configuration file as root user /usr/loca/globus/ganglia/sbin/gmond -t >gmond.conf i was also asked to edit the file /etc/gmond.conf. But I am unable to open this configuration file and when i try opening it only some special characters are getting displayed. Without this i am unable to start gmond service.. Kindly please let me know where i have faultered. Do guide me as early as possible.. Thanks in advance Yamini.L
