Hi!
Today I tried to migrate my multiple cluster grid into a configuration
with multiple grids & clusters but now I'm facing some trouble.
Here's a roundup of the situation:
Actually I have 2 gmetad servers which collect (successfully) the data in
their specific grids.
I have one main gmetad server which should provide data to the webserver
(i.e. the machine that was my central gmetad server before).
$ telnet grid-server1 8651
--> shows data
$ telnet grid-server2 8651
--> shows data
But there is no data collected in my ganglia/rrds directory on the main
server (as before all dirs in ganglia/ are owned by nobody and are
writable)
Of course all gmetad's were successfully restarted several times, so was
apache.
On the grid-servers I also installed the apache, php and gweb modules and
set the authority in gmetad.conf to their specific location.
Here's the debug output of the central gmetad server:
/opt/freeware/sbin/gmetad --debug=10
Going to run as user nobody
