I am looking at total processes graph on one of the nodes and I see value
of "now" is fractional (i.e. current number of processes are reported in
fraction). This metric is Guage type (as I see it in the rrd file) and I
don't see why fractional number would be reported ever for the total
processes..
So according to my knowledge the gauge metric is plotted as it is.. am I
missing? Is this metric averaged over time? Why I see the fractional
value?
Any insight would really be helpful.. Thanks in advance!
