I think I am missing something about gmond installation. Before, I
believe there was a lot of static linking going on and so I just had to
copy over gmond to the hosts and add it to the startup services with
chkconfig and install the .conf file. Now, it appears that there are
dynamically linked libraries that are required so each host needs those
now. Now there are some libraries installed in various locations that I
never needed on the hosts before. I found it was easier to just to each
host finally and do a make install on each host and work through all the
missing libraries.

Was this the intention of the dynamic libraries now? Or am I missing
something fundamental here that would have made this much easier?
