Hi all,
we use ganglia to monitor a cluster of about 200 nodes for computational
applications. The master node, on which we have the gmetad daemon is always
up, while the nodes are up only in the night.
The master node is a virtual machine on vmware sphere, but timing is set to
hardware. We encounter some little problems with the metrics:
- every 20 minutes, for one minute the localhost metrics are collected by
gmetad, while in the others 19 minutes the host is seen offline.
- in the web interface, even if sort by name is selected, host boxes are
showed in completely different order (this is not important)
Actually we are using ganglia 3.4, there is any way to solve (at least the
first one, the second is not so important) issues without changing version?
