Are you sure that you are collecting data from the collector gmond? Check your data_source lines in gmetad.conf.
Can gmetad connect to gmond? From the host running gmetad, use nc or telnet to connect to the gmond running on the host/port specifcied in gmetad.conf (the data_source lines, again) Is Gmond actually collecting metrics?
