I made a gmond module, that would count the number of logged in users:

It is called "user", it is written in C and uses utmp(5)'s getutent(3).

Not sure if it works on other systems, it has only been tested on Linux.


There are two different values being reported by the module:

* user_total    "Total users"
* user_unique   "Unique users"

What do you think ? (I named it "user", just like it's "proc")
