Our cluster is sometimes in heavy use, and sometimes mostly idle. We
like to save power by turning off unused nodes until needed again.
But when nodes are off, the ganglia monitoring pages don't show any of
their history - only the time of last ping. I'd like to be able to see
things like "node 17 was running at load around 8.0 until 1pm, then was
idle until 3pm, hasn't been heard from since."
Is there a way to make ganglia display historical data for nodes that it
has decided are currently down?
Thanks
Stuart Levy
