Just wanted to let folks know that I'm still thinking about this.  
However I'm going to be mostly away from my computer for the next two  
weeks so you probably won't hear from me on this, or any other, topic  
until mid May. Once I get back, I'll see what I can do to put  
together this Plant a Flower Day. In the meantime, the Potting Soil  
series on the ALU Wiki looks like good stuff and I'd encourage anyone  
who's interested to add new entries or refactor what's there.
