ok, i realised my mistake my last post was too long, that is why i got only i response, so i am reposting but this time a much shorter version, to the point:
i want to contribute my time & skills to CommonLisp community. i did look at CL gardners and decide to help with "Code revival" but i never did any real-life programming, learnt programming only from self-study i only did 2 books: 1.) "Gentle Introduction to Symbolic Computation" -- David S. Touretzky 2.) "Practical Common Lisp" -- Peter Seibel i read only 1st 22 chapters of Practical Common Lisp, after that, the practicals were a 50/50 mix of domain-knowledge & Common Lisp. Rather than focussing on *his* domains i decided to focus on *contributing* and then picking up a domain for that, that's why i am posting here. specifically i am interested in stuff related to OSs, APIs. do you think i should follow these domains, as a newbie to rel-life programming? i will appreciate any advice :-) thanks "arnuld" -- "the great intellectuals" _______________________________________________ Gardeners mailing list [email protected] http://www.lispniks.com/mailman/listinfo/gardeners
