I use common lisp for work and hobby. At work I use it to read binary
files and translate them. As a hobby I work on Axiom which is a free,
full featured, commercial grade computer algebra system. See
<http://sourceforge.net/projects/axiom>. I've also used lisp in the
past to create a commercial rule-based programming language, a
knowledge representation language, a robot control language, and a
design-to-build manufacturing system. It may not be a real language
but I find it useful.
