Hi all, one not-only-garnome question. Every time I build new Garnome release and want to use it for existing user, I _need_ to run "gst-register" for each of them... I know, that there is post-install script in gstreamer-related packages, which runs gst-register, but this only works for the user who compiles garnome...
each other user will get problems regarding sound (does not work etc.), unless he/she runs gst-register in his/her shell. I thought about adding gst-register to my garnome-session.sh script, but maybe you know some other way how to resolve this... This surely happens when migrating user to next major GNOME release (2.6 -> 2.8 and 2.8 -> 2.9 (2.10) in my case). Many thanks & regards, Ivan -- Ing.
