In an earlier post I reported problems with the gnome-menus-2.10.1
Applications menu:
Left-click on the Applications menu and it would flash and
immediately go away.
This problem did not exist with gnome-menus-2.10.0.
The source of the problem appears to be the original set of xdg files
installed under /etc/xdg as part of YDL-4.0.1, which provides
GNOME-2.6.
If this directory is renamed,
/etc/xdg ==> /etc/xdg-
the flash and vanish behavior stops.
Thoughts???
