The current version of monodevelop is now 0.7:

Building monodevelop-0.7 has two new requirements:
* gecko-sharp2.0
current version: 2.0-0.10
* gtksourceview2.0:
current version: 2.0-0.10
These two new packages do not conflict with their earlier versions
because of naming conventions.
monodevelop-0.7 builds and runs [meaning it comes up] under mono-1.1.7
[and 1.1.8-snapshot]
