I don't think that running muliple instances of those daemons is a real option here... but anyway, if I installed the same version as Ubuntu uses to my garnome prefix, I should still be able to use the system deamon AND programs linking against dbus-glib would pick up the version in garnome, thus not pulling in the stripped glib from ubuntu?
I would do that but unfortunately I don't think dbus-glib is the only problem. As mentioned in my previous mail, I also get those errors with ooo-build, again mostly glib symbols I think but not releated to dbus-glib: Making: ../../../unxlngi6.pro/lib/ucpgvfs1.uno.so ccache g++ -Wl,-z,combreloc -Wl,-z,defs -Wl,-rpath,'$ORIGIN' -shared -L../../../unxlngi6.pro/lib -L../lib -L/home/nx/ooo-build/build/src680-m110/solenv/unxlngi6/lib -L/home/nx/ooo-build/build/src680-m110/solver/680/unxlngi6.pro/lib -L/home/nx/ooo-build/build/src680-m110/solenv/unxlngi6/lib -L/usr/lib/j2sdk1.4-sun/lib -L/usr/lib/j2sdk1.4-sun/jre/lib/i386 -L/usr/lib/j2sdk1.4-sun/jre/lib/i386/client -L/usr/lib/j2sdk1.4-sun/jre/lib/i386/native_threads -L/usr/X11R6/lib -L/usr/lib/mozilla ../../../unxlngi6.pro/slo/ucpgvfs1.uno_version.o ../../../unxlngi6.pro/slo/ucpgvfs1.uno_description.o -o ../../../unxlngi6.pro/lib/ucpgvfs1.uno.so ../../../unxlngi6.pro/slo/content.o ../../../unxlngi6.pro/slo/directory.o ../../../unxlngi6.pro/slo/stream.o ../../../unxlngi6.pro/slo/provider.o -luno_cppuhelpergcc3 -luno_cppu -luno_sal -lvos3gcc3 -lucbhelper3gcc3 -lutl680li -ltl680li -Wl,--export-dynamic -pthread -Wl,--export-dynamic -L/opt/gnome2.12/lib -lgnomevfs-2 -ldl -lpthread -lm -Wl,-Bdynamic -lstlport_gcc ../../../unxlngi6.pro/slo/content.o: In function `auth_queue_destroy': /home/nx/ooo-build/build/src680-m110/ucb/source/ucp/gvfs/content.cxx:1836: undefined reference to `g_queue_free' [...] And I don't even understand how exactpy the openoffice build works... :/ Has noone ever experienced something like this? -Michi -- garnome-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/garnome-list
