libxml2 can be found under ./platform. It should have been built and
installed earlier. If it wasn't, something is amiss.
It is a good idea to follow the instructions in the README and build
using
make paranoid-install
starting from the desktop directory.
That way if anything "bad" happens, the build will stop.
