As Tommi Komulainen just noticed, the md5sum checks appear to not work.
I had a look at it, and the issue is simple:
$(MD5) isn't set by default. To make it work, just add a line like this
to gar.conf.mk:
MD5 = md5sum
Paul, can you fix this without a report in bugzilla? ;-)
