I have more than one version pf python on my system. The changes insure
that dogtail uses the version of python specified in gar.conf.mk.
Speaking of python versions and gar.conf.mk, check out this one-liner:
$PYTHON -c "import sys; print sys.version[:3]"
We can use this one liner to simplify the computation of PYVER in
gar.conf.mk.
