Known issue. AFAIK this dependency will not be allowed for inclusion in
GNOME 2.16.0, since it can not be considered mature at this point, and
is not included in any distro yet. IIRC, I may be wrong. ;)
However, the good news is, that there seems to be consensus to make this
an optional dependency only. Soon-ish, I hope...
