Thanks for the comments. Below is the jade and docbook packages 
installed on my box.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# rpm -qa|grep jade

jadetex-3.12-11
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# rpm -qa|grep docbook
docbook-dtds-1.0-25
docbook-style-dsssl-1.78-4
docbook-style-xsl-1.65.1-2
docbook-utils-pdf-0.6.14-4
docbook-utils-0.6.14-4

Do I need to upgrade the version of jadetex and docbook?
