Depending on what you're replacing, it could be easy or hellish. Sometimes, gar.conf.mk has to be adjusted (i.e. for pkg-config or python), othertimes certain Makefiles need tweaking (i.e. evolution). In your last post, you are missing pygtk, so install it either through garnome or manually on your system. Lastly, and this is just a friendly suggestion, relax, test things through thoroughly, try and see if the error is yours, or something part of garnome. Making 5 posts in succession is too much noise for me. Honestly though, if you're going to go this route (combining system and garnome programs and libraries), and I have a lot of experience at this, it IS A LOT OF WORK! -- Peter -- garnome-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/garnome-list
First I have posted here a lot. Second that html gibberish, no idea were that came from. Um, I am calm.... Just didn't want someone wasting time when I was just saying what I have done. 3rd or 4th fc6/centos5 have problems with garnome (my experience in the past) with python versions. I've installed pygtk-2.8.6 in /usr/local Thanks, I wish it was just an easy fix for centos5/fc6 to work with garnome. Anyway thanks for your suggestions?
