Hello again! After having installed libffi, I was able to build the package. Now "make paranoid-install" fails at bug-buddy:
appending configuration tag "F77" to libtool checking for BUG_BUDDY... yes checking for BUG_BUDDY_EDS... yes checking for elf_version in -lelf... no checking libelf.h usability... no checking libelf.h presence... no checking for libelf.h... no configure: error: libelf.h not found. make[1]: *** [configure-work/main.d/bug-buddy-2.22.0/configure] Fehler 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/data/Gnome2.22/garnome-2.22.0/desktop/bug-buddy' make: *** [paranoid-install] Fehler 2 Yep, there's no libelf.h on my system. According to http://www.portagefilelist.de/index.php/Special:PFLQuery?dir=&package=&full_file=&file=libelf.h&version=&pflquery=submitted the Gentoo packages libelf or elfutils provide that header file. I've got neither installed. Basically the same question as before - is the distribution supposed to provide that package/file? Thanks, Michael -- -- GMX startet ShortView.de.
