In the sawmill industry we used scaners to measure the log size. Scaners
could probably be configured for a conveyer feed of chips.

Subject: [Gasification] In line Mass Flow

    Hey Folks

I was wondering if anyone can advise on a system to measure the mass flow
of a solid material (wood chips, pellets, blocks etc) in a process line. I've
seen batch tip systems but id prefer something more continuos. Any advice
would me much appreciated.

    Thanks
