If you look at the documents at this link:
http://www.climatechange.gov.au/publications/greenhouse-acctg/national-greenhouse-factors.aspx
you can see the greenhouse emissions factors published by the Australian
Government.
Table 1 has numbers for solid wood.
Wood is generally regarded as carbon neutral when used for combustion as
long as the wood has come from a sustainably managed source ie there are
replacement trees growing to slurp up the carbon dioxide released by
combustion.
