In Denmark you can get 79 DKK/GJ in green premium for gas in the next weeks
-may be month (until the politicians find out what is actually written in the
law text and change it) ~ equivalent to 200-250 US$ pr tons of dry wood.

Thus a project like PYRONEER pops up. Normally one would burn the straw in the
boiler - but now it is gasified - and an extra 200-240 US$ is suddenly there.
Pyroneer produce the same quality of gas a an updraft gasifier at 10 times the
cost

Can you see the business case?

Need reference contacts. I was not aware that PRM has done fluidized bed
systems, but fixed bed only. Fluidized beds are for engineers, not projects,
they are too complicated to operate, have serious issues with feed properties
and correct operation, ash separation and removal, and other unnecessary
complications.

Interesting  - what is the calorific value of the gas – and how much does it
vary? Fra: [email protected]

 Thomas, See attachments.
Tom------------ Dear Tom: PRME has installed nine (10) PRME Gasifiers that are
greater than 5.0 meters in diameter.  Oldest have been operating around the
clock for 16 years. Regards,Ron Bailey
[email protected]http://www.prmenergy.com Thomas, The largest diameter
updraft gasifiers that have been built in the US are 2 m fluidized beds. EPI
(now Outotec) and others built them in the 1980s when there was a tax incentive
for gasification. The same companies have built 4-5 m combustors but I don’t
know of any gasifiers that size. The new syngas gasifiers are intended to be
that size but nothing has been built.   The plasma enhanced updrafts by
AlterNRG (e.g.
Westinghouse gasifier) in Turkey and India may be that large. Ebara in Japan
may also have something that large. Tom
