Hi Folks,

We generally talk about the steady state gasifier - engine performance. I
would like to know about the transient response of gasifier with sudden
load changes on gasifier.
With my understanding, if sudden load is put up, then gas suction pressure
will increase and mainly oxidation zone width and temperature may reduce
and increase in the reduction and pyrolysis zone with low temperatures. In
transient response, at gasifier exit more tar and less PM can be expected.
Vice versa for the load throw off case.
Please correct my understanding.

Thanks..
