Dear All, For steam oxygen fixed bed coal gasification process,
1 kg coal + 0.8 kg oxygen + 0.3 kg steam = 2.1 kg of syngas / kg of coal This syngas calorific value is 3680 kcal/kg Input Pressure at 100 bar Approximate syngas composition, CO = 60% H2 = 28% CH4 = 9% CO2 = 2% N2 = 1% Whether the gasifier will be operating into high pressure 100 bar or low pressure (slightly above atmospheric pressure) 0.05 bar? If gasifier will be operating in to lower pressure 0.05 bar the syngas composition will be vary or not. Please explain.A. Saravanakumar
