This shear is purpose made, and with limitations to that original application, 
you get what you pay for(:-)
It might help to cut up bushes for a short time, but the blades will most 
likely quickly separate and just bend the twiggy bits rather than cut.
I'm sure there is someone in these forums that can test one for you, but real 
sheet metal workshops won't let you near
their guillotines to try and cut anything except sheet metal.
