Tom,
I am quite sure that there are no gasifiers in the TinyTech systems.
Mr. V K Desai can give the complete answer.
Most important is if the gasifier experts could collaborate with
TinyTech for some optimal combinations. TinyTech has the industrial
and engineering capabilities to have products soon and with the lower
cost economics of production in India.
Two very different aspects: One is about gasifiers to provide clean
gases into engines. The other is about the heat from burning of
non-engine-grade gases (from gasifiers) being use, as for the steam
driven units. The former is certainly of interest to this Listserv.
The latter might not appeal to some readers.

Paul,
Interesting site. Have you seen these TinyTech systems in operation? What
experience has TinyTech had with gasifiers? With more than1600 systems in
110 countries and with all of the gasifiers available in India I would think
that some of the TinyTech systems would be driven by gasifiers.
Thanks
Tom

Rex and all,
Take a look at the MANY items that are available from
tinytechindia.com A gasifier could be linked to the boiler system,
or a gasifier with its own boiler might be appropriate. And if that can be
worked out, I suspect that Mr. V K Desai and his factory could bring it to
the market.

The recent discussion on small scale gasifiers refers. What about
gasifiers that are directly hooked up to either boiler or furnace? Ron
has shown that one of his systems has been operating for decades,
admittedly on much bigger scale. There are smaller units available that
gasify and raise steam.
As an alternative to electricity generation, there is also the ability
to drive mechanical devices such as pumps and mills using belt drives.
The control of these machines is much simpler as they do not have
maintain an exact frequency. This allows a certain amount of up and
down variability on speed making really "simple" gasifiers useful in these
applications.
