Indeed, the direct combustion boiler system is appropriate for steam
generation. This is a case in China. I was told that the local government is
promoting the clean energy, and biomass gasifiction is acceptable, but direct
combustion system is unfavorable. In addition, the feedstock, paper reject
(without pelletization) contains a large amount of light fragments, and is
difficult to apply the fluidized bed. The light fragments will "fly" into the
freeboard of the fluidized bed, not within the bed.

IS there a particular reason why you are looking for a gasifier? A fluidized
bed combustor-boiler may be more appropriate for steam generation at this scale.

We are looking for a biomass gasification system for heat applications based on
the following specification:
Feedstock: 120 t/d paper reject (LHV=6,500 kcal/kg) (non-pellet)
Function: providing low pressure steam for the process
Steam capacity: 20 t/h Steam
Steam pressure: 8 bar
Do anyone know which company can provide the above system? Thank you very much
for your kind assistance indeed.
I also heard that Foster Wheeler and Lurgi will no longer provide biomass
gasification systems. Is it true?
