I thought that one would want to keep the cat from degrading and that any
surplus oxygen would "rust" into iron oxide (the shavings). Are you saying
that iron oxide is prefered?
Also since Jim is suggesting using bottled CO and H2, are you saying the
stainless/nickel will simply keep them in the same form and they will not
combine (and in proper proportions), even if the temp and residency time is
proper?
