Dear Mr Saravanakumar, I don't know what you are talking about, as there are numerous gasifiers in the world which have thousand of hours on the clock and that for decades already! Have a look at my unique TAR FREE units for example: www.carboconsult.com Regards, Gero Eckermann, CEO CARBO CONSULT & ENGINEERING (Pty) LTD E-mail: [email protected] Web: www.carboconsult.com

The solution is simple and known to most email users by now, copy the first part, past it in the address bar of your browser, add the next part to it, (prevent to add empty spaces) and hit enter in your browser. Avoiding long links to get broken is even better, there are different tricks for different platforms/list-servers; but using TinyURL or the like is a easy and quick way to prevent broken links, everywhere. www.gtz.de/de/dokumente/gtz2010-en-small-scale-electricity-generation-from-b iomass-part-I.pdf or <www.gtz.de/de/dokumente/gtz2010-en-small-scale-electricity-generation-from- biomass-part-I.pdf> or http://tinyurl.com/GTZ-01 and www.gtz.de/de/dokumente/gtz2010-en-small-scale-electricity-generation-from-b iomass-part-2.pdf or <www.gtz.de/de/dokumente/gtz2010-en-small-scale-electricity-generation-from- biomass-part-2.pdf> or http://tinyurl.com/GTZ-002 I see that Erin Rasmussen's other link was also broken: http://gasifiers.bioenergylists.org/content/gtz-report-smale-scale-energy-bi omass or http://tinyurl.com/GTZ-Report grts Bruno M. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Op 4-9-2010 18:04, Craig Kernan schreef: > I get a "document not found" response on both links (in several > languages) > > Craig > > On 8/30/2010 8:59 AM, Christa Roth wrote: >> Dear Stovers, Michael Blunck from GTZ asked me to share the following >> with you, which might be of interest also for the stove list. I'm running a gasifier that to date, ran continuous (without shutdown) for 2 months, this was the limit of the steels used to build the unit, upon examination the delamination of the steel in the internal "hot spot" areas was so severe that these areas had to be replaced with new items. not once but twice during the heating season. we have moved away from steels in these critical areas, and on to refractory, and are preparing for a new set of tests this coming winter (this is a building heating only gasifier). you can see a video of this gasifier in operation here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Kr2VpnQHg4 and a view through the tuyere here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCh0Vjoo_t0 Greg Manning, Canadian Gasifier Ltd. Message-ID: <[email protected]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Mr saravana, Biomass plant is susceptible to many by-products like tar, soothe etc and because of nature of different wood/ raw material, these vaies in wide range. The gas is not clean as steam in thermal power plats and hence need frequent preventive measures. Otherwise it is a good option. More information if you needs, please send me on my personal email id. Also since Jim is?suggesting using?bottled CO and H2, are you saying the stainless/nickel will simply keep?them in the same form and they will not combine (and in proper proportions), even if the temp and residency time?is proper?? ? Message-ID: <003701cb4d0f$f48bec50$dda3c4...@com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" I think that you will find that the actual use of small scale (10-35 kWe) gasifiers for remote power generation is about 5-6 hours per day. The most experience has been in India and South Asia with some in Latin America. There are a few larger systems (100-300 kWe), especially where there is low cost fuel and labor.
