Don, Gasifiying this amount of waste is not that big a deal on an industrial scale. First you would centrifuge the bulk of the water out as is done in municipal waste treatment plants, dry the rest with engine exhaust, then feed the resulting powder into a fluidized bed reactor. Not that big a deal technically as long as the financial case works.
