Thank you all for your suggestions. It would appear that companies prepared
to offer turnkey 2 MWe systems that have already built, or are building,
similar systems would include:

Operating or in construction:
PRM Energy (US) - Rossano, Italy 4 MWe
Ortner GmBH (Austria) - Oberwart 2.4 MWe, Villach 3.9 MWe
Ankur Scientific (India)- China 4 MWe
Andritz/Carbona (Finland)- Skive 6 MWe

Projects:
Nexterra (Canda)- University of British Columbia (2 MWe), Nexterra Pilot
Facility
Danatech (US) - Hawaii (2 MWe) MSW

Of these both Nexterra, Danatech, Andritz/Carbona, PRM, Ortner have built
similar and large sized integrated biomass energy systems and CHP systems.
I'm not sure what PRM supplied to the Rossano system. It extremely important
to the public institutions that are interested in this 2-4 MWe size that the
supplier have already demonstrated reliable systems for fuel preparation,
handling, supply to the gasifier and integration of the system into an
operating industrial or institutional unit. There have been many costly
failures in gasification and biomass boiler systems in fuel handling and
integration.

Some suppliers have supplied modules of 250-350 kWe which can and are ganged
together as Neal suggested. Biomass Engineering Ltd. (UK) Ankur and IISc
(India) have done that. Xylowatt has four installations with 300 kWe modules
each. Pyroforce has 300 kWe modules in two plants. PRM has a 1 MWe gasifier
in France (Eneria). Guascor has sizeable pilot modules.

There seem to be an impressive number of small scale systems but information
on the actual performance is sketchy.

The need for integrated systems is reflected in the excellent presentations
from the Gasification 2010 conference at the Swedish gas Centre, October 22,
2010.

Some system infomration is available from the minutes of the last IEA Task
