Ouch! Dear Mike, I am sorry to offend you. Me, I have ADHD. I have PTSD, and Terets keeps me off the phone and away from the public eye. I like email as I can monitor what I say. Or set it aside and come back later to review it for appropriateness. Still, I run open loop, neither asking for other's opinions or wanting them. So this kind of offensiviness slips by, and apparently a lot, as you aren't the only one to notice it. Ken Koch on another list told me something similar. If enough people tell me I have a tail, I better look behind me. In this case, sadly, I meant what I wrote in all seriousness. Why do you think Youtube has a 10 minute limit? I suspect from my own viewing habits that if people aren't interested in what they are seeing, they are gone in 30 seconds. People can't remember what they did 20 minutes ago, let alone what the last generation was doing 20 years ago. Its not an indictment, its an observation, like saying a paraplegeic has a wheel chair. Its important that we listen to Ken and Doug, and Tom (when he chimes in). I was merely encouraging them to write about their lives. All aspects of what they did are of interest because nobody remembers any of it anymore. I am willing to read everything they care to write about even if they think they are rambling or boring. Doesn't matter because its all relevant. I really don't think I am going to come up with any brilliant new scheme on my own, it'll be a combination of what went before and a dash of what is happening now.
