Dear all, 10 January 2011
The Biomass Energy Foundation (BEF) is undertaking several BEF
Gasifier Stove and CHAB Camps (5-day workshops) around the World in
2011. Updated information is now on the Internet at:
www.tridecca.com/bef (must be all lower case in this URL)
(BEF is renovating its website, so we are using the ?Tridecca Launch
Directory? site to make the BEF Camp information easily available and
regularly updated.)
Each BEF Camp has a core curriculum about micro-gasification plus
several special themes related to the local host organizations and the
interests of the participants (like you).
The first BEF Camp in 2011 will be on 7 ? 11 February at Chip Energy
in central Illinois (indoors). It will include the TLUD basics,
advanced TLUD topics, larger AVUD devices for thermal energy, fuel
issues, and biochar topics. A two-page description is at the BEF Camp
website.
Other camps with set dates in 2011 are:
Australia (2 ? 6 May) with a biochar focus
Honduras (26 ? 30 September) with cookstove focus (presented in Spanish)
And at least four others are in planning stages for Europe, Africa,
Asia and North America.
