+GUK - GATE Unicode Kit
+
+GUK comprises a set of input methods for the Java platform. It was developed in
+the early 2000s, when support for non-English text input was lacking on some
+platforms. That has since changed so, before using GUK, check whether your
+operating system provides adequate native facilities.
+
+Also included are a set of input method implementations from MPI
+(http://www.mpi.nl/) which are packaged in the nl.mip.lookup.jar file.
+
+To use any of these libraries, you need to install them as extensions to your
+Java Runtime Environment. This requires copying the .jar files to the
'installed
+extensions directory'. The exact location of the extensions directory depends
on
+the actual Java implementation used, but it is usually lib/ext (inside a Java
