At least I was right on the Gators but otherwise not a good weekend for
picking the favorites (6-8). It was a great night to watch the Gators even
with the heat. Just think how much hotter it would be for a 1:00 game! The O
line has lots of room for improvement but the "Tebow will still be Tebow"
comment by Urban proved to be true for the most part. It was funny Miami
fans complained about the field goal. It should have been a TD to Murphy.
That 'not enough men on the line' penalty was a rather weak excuse for the
ref to call that one back. Why do they even care if a guy is a step back?
Especially a receiver?

Kudos to Karlie Kelley for a killer performance over the weekend in Pick
'Em. Karlie went 12-2 to finish first, one game ahead of Bill Perpich and
Shawn Lewis, who were 11-3. Lots of people at 10-4, in third place.

Year-to-date we have Bill Perpich riding that 11-3 mark to first place at
21-8, followed by Brad Reckamp and David Pilkey at 19-10.

This weekend the Gators are off, it's always nice to have a breather this
early to take stock and not have to jump into the SEC schedule immediately.
Pick 'Em will ALSO TAKE THIS WEEK OFF, so we'll play again next week.
