Just when you think Sapp has turned into a kinder, gentler human being, the QB Killa goes and calls Meyer a "classless dirtbag" for his decision to kick a last-minute field goal in Florida's 26-23 victory over UM Saturday night. Sapp also warned that when the two teams play again in 2013 that paybacks are hell. "It's coming back in a big way," Sapp said. This whole thing is getting quite humorous. It's still hard for me to believe that players and coaches from the 'U' -- a program that built its entire reputation on players running their mouths and then running up the score -- are now offended because Meyer wanted his inexperienced field goal kicker to get some practice before the Gators head up to Knoxville next week. If Sapp wants to defend his program that's fine, but calling someone a "classless dirtbag" might be just a tad over the line, don't you think? Especially coming from a guy who has been accused many times of being rude and classless over the years. As you can tell, Sapp is certainly no politician. When it comes to garnering viewer votes on Dancing with the Stars, there's already rumblings among some Gator fans of a Sapp boycott.
